Networks Adjust Schedules to Counteract Against AI Juggernaut January 27, 2007 2:18 pm

CBS and ABC, in an effort to help stem off some ratings loss due to the returning American Idol have pulled and shifted, respectively, a series from each network.
First up, CBS has canceled its comedy/reality series Armed and Famous from its schedule, effective immediately. For the time being, CBS has scheduled a repeat of CSI: NY this week and a repeat of Criminal Minds next week. Jericho will return February 14 with a recap episode.
ABC on the other hand has decided to shift The Knights of Prosperity away from ‘Idol’ to Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET. The show will now lead-out of George Lopez, while According to Jim (the original Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. occupant) will take the place of ‘Knights’ on Tuesday’s at 9:00 PM.
