  • 8:00 p.m.: Reaper (1.5/2 HH rating/share, 2.48M viewers, 1.0/3 A18-49 rating/share). Update: Had to update to show the finals.  1.6/3 HH rating/share, 2.70M viewers and a 1.1/3 A18-49 rating/share.  While the uptick registered in the fast affiliates was noteworthy, the finals are very, very good news.  Overall, the show was up an impressive 740,000 (+38%) and +22% among adults 18-49.  Of course the increases were due to the non-original programming for the hour, courtesy President Obama’s press conference, so we won’t know for sure if the show has turned a corner.  Plus, it didn’t go up against American Idol.  I’m cautiously optimistic for next week’s numbers, but am fully aware that it may succumb to the added competition.  Next week’s numbers will be very interesting, especially since 90210 is returning at 9:00pm.

Week-to-week numbers:

Households – 1.2/2 to 1.5/2 (+25%)
Viewers – 1.96M to 2.48M (+27%/+0.52M)
Adults 18-49 – 0.9/3 to 1.0/3 (+11%)

  • 9:00 p.m.: 90210-REPEAT (0.7/1 HH rating/share, 0.92M viewers, 0.4/1 A18-49 rating/share).

GO TO WEEKLY RATINGS PAGE

Note: Network average numbers from the week prior are based on fast affiliate data. Comparison’s from the week prior (or episode-to-episode, etc.) on specific shows are based on final national data. Ratings for the current day are based on fast affiliate numbers. (Expect all three scenarios to be the case at all times, unless otherwise noted). The final rating for first-run episodes that aired this evening will be reported the following week. So for example, the final rating for tonight’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars: The Results” will be reported in next weeks report for Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Also keep in mind that because these are fast affiliate numbers, when the finals are released there may be noticeable changes.

And lastly, there may be some errors in the data due to rounding/human error. I’ll do my best to limit those mistakes and correct them in time for the next week’s report.

Great compilation. However traditional ratings are too cumbersome to understand. I am using Twielsen (http://twielsen.com) to add to my ratings and get a complete picture.
