In a press release from Lionsgate, the rumored details of Levi Alexander as director and Ray Stevenson as the star have been confirmed.

With Thomas Jane out as Frank Castle (Punisher), news now comes from Latino Review of the actors replacement. The new Punisher is Ray Stevenson (of HBO’s Rome).

With the original Punisher (Thomas Jane) and that films director (Jonathan Hensleigh) backing out of the films sequel, word comes that the position of director has been filled.
