Guillermo del Toro told SCI FI Wire that if Hellboy II: The Golden Army is successful enough to warrant a sequel, he already has a plan in place for a third film in the series, and that the third film would be the last in the franchise.

Universal, who is releasing the upcoming Hellboy sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army, will be releasing the trailer for the film on Thursday.
