NBC takes the evening in households, viewers and adults 18-49 on the strength of its “Sunday Night Football” presentation, while ABC and CBS stay competitive. “Desperate Housewive” was the most watched program on the night.

ABC has given its sophomore drama/comedy “What About Brian” a full season go, ordering the back nine. That brings its season two total to 22 episodes from 17 (ABC previously committed to 13 episodes this season, then ordered an additional four before deciding to pick up the remaining five).
The series has remained steady this season holding onto most of its lead-ins (“Bachelor: Rome”) audience, most specifically its adults 18-49 audience. It is also consistently a top performer in target demos of Women A18-34, W18-49 and W25-54 for the hour.
“What About Brian”, which airs Monday’s at 10:00 PM, has averaged 6.71M viewers through four episodes this season.

CBS takes the win in households and viewers, while NBC comes away with the win in A18-49. “Desperate Housewives” was the week’s highest rated program in households and viewers, while “Grey’s Anatomy” came away with the win among adults 18-49.

- CBS has set the fall season finale of “Jericho” for Wednesday, November 29th. “Jericho” will be airing repeat free this season and will return from its winter hiatus on February 14th with a recap episode followed by the remaining 11 original episodes.
- The series is averaging a respectable 11.08M viewers with a 3.4/10 A18-49 rating, good enough for second in the time period behind “Dancing With the Stars”.
- “King of Queens” will return with two new episodes on December 6th and 13th (four total) and again on the 20th and 27th with just one new episode each night (two total).
- The remaining four original episodes of the canceled freshman drama “Smith” will be streamed online for free on CBSs broadband channel, Innertube. They are available online now and will remain there for four weeks. The show’s three episodes which have aired on television will also be viewable online.

The CMA Awards powers ABC to a rare Monday win in households, viewers and adults 18-49. NBC’s “Heroes” continues to impress, winning the evening in adults 18-49.

- There are rumors that NBC has cut the order of the drama/comedy “The Singles Table” from its original 13 episode order to a six episode order (the pilot plus five new episodes).
- CBS has added a new show to their online “Innertube” service. “The Papdits” is a comedy/reality series filmed in the form of a documentary which focuses on a family from Kashmir and their interaction with Americans as they travel through the United States. Kind of reminds you of “Borat”, no?
- Dan Rather is teaming up with Jon Stewart for election night coverage. Rather will be joining Stewart for the Comedy Central one-hour special airing on election night titled “Indecision 2006: The Midterm Midtacular.

In a very close Sunday, three networks can claim some sort of victory as CBS took households, ABC took viewers and adults 18-49 and NBC finished a strong and close second in A18-49.
