‘Madagascar 3’ In the Works + Sequel for “Kung Fu Panda” in Early Stages August 19, 2008 5:18 pm

DreamWorks Animation CEO, Jeffrey Katzenberg, revealed that he expects at least one additional film in the Madagascar series, and confirmed the rumor that the studio is moving forward with a sequel to their summer hit Kung Fu Panda.
Speaking on Madagascar, Katzenberg said “there is at least one more chapter. We ultimately want to see the characters make it back to New York.” On Kung Fu Panda, Katzenberg said “We’ve started conversations about it, and I think in the next 30 or 60 days, we’ll be able to talk completely about that,” Katzenberg said.
