Joss Whedon had a panel today at Comic-Con discussing his upcoming and current projects, including Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Here are the highlights courtesy TV Squad:
- Joss mentioned that more Serenity comics are on the way
- He was joined on stage by ‘Dr. Horrible‘ writers: Jed and Zach Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen. Then the cast: Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, Felicia Day and Simon Helberg.
- It was revealed that there will be another part to Dr. Horrible. No specific details were revealed though.
- Fillion revealed that the remote control shown on the iPhone that Dr. Horrible uses is just a website: www.thesoftwire.com/horrible_remote.
Much more, which I haven’t included due to spoilers, at this link.
And here’s a bit more from /Film‘s report:
About the upcomining DVD release, Whedon said:
There is some excitement about a DVD possibility…You’ve probably heard about “Commentary: The Musical”…there are songs written for it. We are also going to have a little contest. We are going to take video submissions for the Evil League of Evil. No longer than 3 minutes, like you’re applying to be on Survivor of something. We’ll put the 10 best ones on the DVD. That’s something we’re going to do after the soundtrack etc.
