Platinum Studios Inc., has confirmed that 
Michael Rymer will be the director of the upcoming comic book adaptation of Witchblade. Rymer is most recognized as a television producer and director of several episodes of Battlestar Galactica. An actress for the lead role has yet to be announced.
Witchblade is scheduled to hit theaters sometime in 2009.
