Comic-Con 2008 kicks off this evening with a special first-ever Wednesday preview night. Tonight’s event features two pilot screenings for Fox’s sci-fi drama Fringe.

Warner Bros. has also set up a feature where if you text COMIC to 58671 you can receive alerts for all WB-related Comic-Con events, free downloads and enter for a chance to win prizes.
