Diablo Cody has been hired to write an currently untitled comedy script for DreamWorks Pictures that is based on an original idea by Steven Spielberg. Details of the project are being kept under tight wraps by the studio. There are no producers yet attached.
This marks the second time that the pair have collaborated. Cody wrote the pilot and is an executive producer on the upcoming Showtime series The United States of Tara, which was also based on an original idea from Speilberg.
