Paramount has been slow in getting out cast photos of the upcoming G.I. Joe, but we’ve now got a first look at the cast. Directed by Stephen Sommers, G.I. Joe hits theaters August 7, 2009. Photos after the jump.

the money they invest in this movie would be better off invested in me… if they are gonna throw money out the window its easier to give it away then go through the ordeal and all for this for sure failed movie…

I’ve been a G.I. Joe fan for almost 30 years, watched the episodes, and collected the comics. Hell, I even stole a quote or two from time to time and used in over here in the “sand box.” This isn’t hard to do right, the pieces and characters are already there with an already established fan-base. We can only hope that this movie is not filmed by comittee or it will end up along the same lines as the Street Fighter movie did. What a mess that was….
