Contract negotiations between the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the studios (who will be represented by the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers/AMPTP) have begun. The solo negotiations, the first time in 27 years that SAG has had solo negotiations with Hollywood studios, began after the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) rejected an offer for combined talks.
