Anton Yelchin (upcoming Star Trek, Charlie Bartlett) is in negotiations to stars as post-apocalyptic warrior Kyle Reese in director McG’s new Terminator movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Yelchin will play a teen version of Reese, the man who fathered John Connor in the original Terminator film.
Production on the film is scheduled to start in early May, and THR is also reporting that Paul Haggis has been in talks about coming on board tow work on the sequel’s script.
