Some photos from the set of J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek have found their way online. The images released include crowd shots of extras in uniform and some sort of futuristic vehicle.

If they would have kept the Romulan look intact instead of making them look like tatooed Klingons, the movue might have a chance….its just not looking good. Romulans don’t have facial hair because its considered barbaric.
The “futuristic vehicle” is an aptura car (http://www.aptera.com/).
That was shot in front of my library at california state university northridge. Shit I remember that day too and none of the production crew would tell me what they were filming. At the time I didn’t see anybody in uniform.
