Shock Till You Drop is reporting that The Crazies remake isn’t dead yet, with production house Penn Station looking to keep the remake afloat.
The site reports that Penn producers Dean Georgaris and Michael Aguilar brought Ray Wright on board, presumable pre-strike, to work on the script.
The Crazies, an update to the classic George Romero 1973 film, was set to be directed by Brad Anderson, reuniting him with The Machinist writer Scott Kosar, who penned the draft.
