Another casting announcement has been made for JJ Abrams Star Trek. ComingSoon.net is reporting that child actor Jimmy Bennett has been cast as a young Kirk in the film.
Bennett turns 12 on February 9th. The actor has appeared in films such as Hostage, The Amityville Horror, Firewall, Poseidon and Evan Almighty.
Star Trek hits theaters on December 25, 2008.
