Wayans and Gordon-Levitt Cast in “G.I. Joe” January 7, 2008 12:28 am

Marlon Wayans and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have been added to the cast of the upcoming Paramount action film G.I. Joe.
Wayans will play Ripcord, leader of the military unit while the role in which Gordon-Levitt is in negotiations for is not yet known.
Variety is also reporting that filming on the movie will begin next month in L.A.
The duo will join previously cast actors/actresses Rachel Nichols, Sienna Miller, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Said Taghmaoui.
Directed by Stephen Sommers, G.I. Joe is scheduled to hit theaters on August 7, 2009
