Director Chosen for “Clash of the Titans” December 14, 2007 6:16 pm

Variety is reporting that director Steve Norrington has been selected by Warner Bros. to direct the remake of the 1981 mythical adventure Clash of the Titans.
Working off a script originally written by Travis Beacham before being re-written by Lawrence Kasdan, this will be Norrington’s first directed film since 2003’s League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Warner Bros., and Legendary, are prepping the project for a 2008 start of production.
