CBS has named Maggie Rodriquez to co-anchor of the weekly edition of The Early Show.
Rodriquez was promoted from her current position of co-anchor of The Saturday Early Show, where she’d been with for the past six months.
CBS News is looking to relaunch the program on January 7, with a new set and shuffled anchor teams of Harry Smith, Julie Chen and Rodriquez. Russ Mitchell is staying on as a new anchor, while Dave Price will continue as the shows meteorologist.
