“G.I. Joe” and “The Lovely Bones” Get 2009 Release Dates November 20, 2007 2:30 am

Paramount Pictures has set 2009 release dates for two of their upcoming films; the Stephen Sommers directed G.I. Joe and Peter Jackson’s The Loveley Bones.
Jackson’s The Lovely Bones, an adaptation of the Alice Sebold best-selling novel, hits theaters on March 13, 2009, while the action-adventurer G.I. Joe will hit theaters on August 7, 2009.
In related G.I. Joe news, it was reported by Variety that Sienna Miller has joined the cast of the film. The British actress will play the film’s female lead.
