ABC has picked up the fantasy drama/comedy Pushing Daisies for a full season, putting in the back-nine order which brings the total order for the freshman series to 22 episodes.

Pushing Daisies had a very successful series premiere back on Wednesday October 3, drawing an audience of 13.03 million viewers (8.3/14 household rating/share and a 4.3/13 adults 18-49 rating/share).

Though ratings have slid since that premiere, it still remains a solid performer, as it continually wins its time period among adults 18-49.

Through three aired episodes, including the pilot, the show has averaged the following ratings: 11.05 million viewers, 7.2/12 household rating/share and a 3.9/11 adults 18-49 rating/share.

This is the second ABC series to be given a full season order, following Private Practice which received its full season order last week (related article here).

Pushing Daisies airs Wednesday nights on ABC at 8:00 p.m.

This is great! This is the best/most original show out there. No other show beats it!
