When Fox pulled its new reality series Nashville (related article here) the network was quick to note that the show wasn’t canceled, and would return “sometime in October”. Well, scratch that. Fox has officially canceled the series, replacing it with a second run airing of Don’t Forget the Lyrics!.

The show was tentively set to return on November 9, but instead ‘Lyrics’ will takeover the Friday at 9:00 p.m. timeslot on that evening.

Only two episodes of Nashville ever aired.

It’s final episode, which aired on Friday, September 21, drew only 2.18 million viewers, with a 1.3/2 household rating/share and a 0.9/3 adults 18-49 rating/share.

It’s unknown how many episodes, past the initial two that aired, were produced.
