“Terminator 4” Update September 26, 2007 2:33 pm

The Sarah Connor Chronicles producer James Middleton, who is currently overseeing the development of the film Terminator 4, has given an update to IGN about the film, including that it is intended to be the first of three new movies, and that they are hoping to release ‘T4’ in 2009.
Speaking with IGN, Middleton said that the film will be written by Michael Ferris and John D. Brancato (who co-wrote Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) and though a director has not yet been set, they hope to be in pre-production by October with plans to release the film in 2009.
