The writer for the upcoming Paramount film G.I. Joe has been confirmed.
Reported by IESB several days ago (related story here), Variety and The Hollywood Reporter have confirmed that Stuart Beattie has been given writing duties for the live-action adaption of G.I. Joe.
Pre-production is expected to begin this fall, with Paramount looking to bow the film in the summer of 2009.
