Warner Bros. has selected director Zach Snyder (300) to helm the upcoming remake of The Illustrated Man. Snyder will both direct and produce the film, a remake based on a collection of short stories of the same name by Ray Bradbury.
Snyder is currently hard at work on the studio’s Watchmen.
The Illustrated Man collection, first published in 1951, is narrated by a mysterious man with living tattoos that predict the future. The original 1969 film starred Rod Steiger in the title role.
