ABC Adds More Episodes of “Just for Laughs” August 29, 2007 2:56 pm

ABC has announced that they’ve ordered an additional 13 episodes of its hidden-camera series Just for Laughs.Since premiering on July 17, the series has averaged respectable ratings, drawing 7.4 million viewers and a 2.5/9 rating/share among adults 18-49.
The network will likely use the series to fill in any holes this coming fall and midseason, should any of their new half-hour comedies fail to catch on with audiences.
Just for Laughs is based on the Canadian series Just for Laughs Gags. That series runs in more than 125 countries. It’s the first Canadian series to earn a timeslot on a major US broadcast network.
