“Saving Grace” Renewed For Season 2 August 8, 2007 7:39 pm

TNT has renewed Saving Grace for a second season, making the order for 15 more episodes after only 3 aired episodes.
The series debuted very strongly back on July 23rd (click for related story), becoming the year’s top-rated ad-supported cable premiere. Though it slid in week two (3.7/6 HH rating, 5.374 million viewers and a 1.3/4 A18-49 rating), its overall ratings remain strong and it is proving to be much more compatible with its dominant lead-in (The Closer) than other shows TNT has positioned in the time slot.
The Helly Hunter starring series airs Monday nights at 10:00 p.m. on TNT.

I loved Saving Grace You never new what was going to happen next with Grace and Earl. And the song by Everlast is the best song I have heard in a every long time, I can’t wait till it out on CD I will be the frist to buy it I have been looking for it but not to many young people have heard it. They need to play it on the roado. I know it would go over.
This show is phenomanal in it’s accurate potrayal of a peson in crisis. Holly Hunter put a great job in as the lead. The main character , I hope will not change to dramatically. It would be good to see more of OKC in the filming too. The writing by Ms. Miller so far to me is superb.
Kudos to the rest of the excellent cast, Mr. Rippy males an intriguing angel.
this airs in canada at different time of year i hope i dont miss the return of the third installment i love this show so much hope it stays on awhile
I hope season 2 comes fast, I love the show and now that Grace found her rapist and is probably not going to kill him, I really need to know what happens, its so awesome!!!!!!!!

I just read that Saving Grace is renewed for a second season and will be returning in July! I absolutely love the raw emotion and the reality that Holly Hunter brings to this fabulous series. Gotta love Earl!!! Can’t wait-sticky note reminder is on my computer!
Can anyone tell me if Saving Grace will be shown in Canada/Ontario? It was aired on our channel A&E 615 Bell ExpressVu Dish last season. What a great show I was hooked from the start. What can you say about Earl a great roll a great actor as for Holly well she is a gem for sure her talent is remarkable. The other cast members are jjst as terrific the show has to be one of the best shows out there today.
Please tell me if we will get to watch the new season also and when?

It is a very well done show. The Characters are very real. I can respect
them because they are trying to make the world a better place despite
there faults. Holly Hunter, Leon Rippy, and Laura San Giacomo are
especially great. I hope that the writing holds up throughout the series.
That will make a big difference next to the acting. It is a real treasure.
