A remake to the 1986 cult classic film Troll is in the works, with writer/director John Carl Buechler heading the effort.
The new film will launch an animated television series, as well as a new line of toys, all based on the original characters.
“It’s all about the kids,” said Buechler, who is himself a father of seven year-old twins and a pre-teenager, adding that he’d like to “make a film that my whole family can see.” This will be the departure for Buechler who is famous for his extensive work in the field of classic horror.
