In a nearly $20 million deal, TNT has won the cable rights to the hit Frank Miller graphic novel adaption 300.

TNT will pay about $17 million for the rights, which will give the network a window of three years, instead of the usual four or five year deals.

Because of the shorter length on the deal, TNT will allow Warner Bros. to sell the movie to another network (broadcast or cable) after the first year of the TNT deal.300 will begin airing in September 2009, a couple months after the film finishes its 118-month window run on HBO.
