According to a report at Variety, Kevin Spacey will be reprising his role as Lex Luthor in the sequel to Superman Returns.
The actor met with ‘Returns’ director Bryan Singer in New York while Spacey was appearing on Broadway.
Superman: Man of Steel’s screenplay is currently being written by Michael Dougherty (who wrote Superman Returns) and Singer hopes to start production on the film sometime next year, in preparation for a 2009 release.
