In a video at ShatnerVision (through LiveVideo), William Shatner revealed that his former Star Trek co-star Leonard Nimoy (Spock) has read the script for JJ Abrams new Star Trek movie and his character is in the film, but that Shatner’s character of Kirk is not.

Star Trek XI will be released on December 25, 2008. More information, likely including cast, will be revealed at this year’s Comic-Con convention in San Diego.
