Brad Pitt will be starring in a remake to the 60s classic Bullitt.
Monsters & Critics notes that the actor will take the role of Lt. Frank Bullitt (famously portrayed by Steven McQueen in the 1968 film) and though a source relayed that: “Brad shares a lot of the same passions as Steve McQueen – including a love of motorbikes and fast cars – so it was a dream role for him.”
Pitt has been linked with the role since as far back as 2003, but the project has only now been given the green light. The push to get the film green-lit likely has to do with studio heads getting in as many movies as possible before the possible Screen Actors Guild strike action.

IMO somebody like Daniel Craig or Clive Owen would be a much better choice, Steve McQueen was too cool and too much of a mans-man to be portrayed by a pretty boy like Pitt.
Typical Hollywood….I’ll wait for the DVD
