According to the Hollywood Reporter, director Shawn Levy will not be returning to direct the sequel to Pink Panther. Instead, Harald Zwart (Agent Cody Banks) will be helming the sequel.
Steve Martin will be reprising his role as Inspector Jacques Clouseau. The screenplay was written by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber.
Levy will however remain involved with the sequel. He’ll be executive producing.
The 2006 film, The Pink Panther, was a moderate hit. Grossing $83.23 million domestically, while adding another $76.62 million overseas ($158.85 million worldwide).
