It’s been a busy day in terms of news relating to NBC’s 2007/2008 television series. This item pertains to Scrubs. Though the show has struggled this season with lower than average numbers, the network is expected to renew the comedy for its 7th season.

The renewal, not yet confirmed by NBC, reportedly calls for a shortened 18 episode order (22 episodes aired last season).

Scrubs is still good, it just needs to take a few more chances, be a tiny bit more edgy, and a little less cute. It also needs its characters to evolve.

JD should be married by now, and Cox should be Chief of Medicine. The show is in a bit of a rut and needs to break out of it.

In my opinion I think that things were funnier when JD was single and not tied down with his future child

also I still love the show but I just think the producers need to go back to the ways that they used to think

Scrubs is the funniest thing on television. Can’t wait for the next season to start. Do Kim and JD get married? Do Elliot and Keith get married? Or do Elliot and JD FINALLY figure it out, work out their differences and get back together permanently? Yes, I agree that Dr. Cox should be Chief of Medicine. Why did Laverne leave the show? Yes, she died, but what’s the actress doing now? The show is in some sort of limbo and needs some spicing up. I’m a dedicated watcher. What night will the next season be shown?

I love Scrubs. I discovered Scrubs on reruns. I was in the Navy, so needless to say I had no time for TV. I am glad that the show still is running. Part of the problem is that scheduling for Scrubs is very hard to find!! There needs to be better marketing of the show’s schedule. I am still at a loss of when the show is airy. Thank you!

i have to agree it was more enjoyable when jd wasn’t tired down. its like he was to much, and isn’t as funny.

and it seems that everyone is ready to get on with their lives, the cast has grown up to fast, its like they don’t have any where else to go.

My 85 year old mother watches it and thinks it’s the funniest show she’s ever seen. She just sits here and howls (with laughter) at Scrubs.

It’s too bad this is the last season. I agree, you’re right. Their schooling is done, their residency is done, they are going off in all directions and having kids and what’r’they gonna do now? Too bad. Great show though. sigh…
