MTV is reporting that Nicolas Cage has been confirmed to play a younger version of Chicago mob boss, Al Capone in The Untouchables: Capone Rising.
The film will re-unite Cage with his Snake Eyes director Brian DePalma. It will serve as a prequel to the 1987 DePalma classic The Untouchables. The film will revolve around the early dealings between Capone and Irish cop Jimmy malone, whom was played by Sean Connery in the original.
Principal photography will begin in October.
