Laurence Fishburne has been cast in the upcoming sequel to Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer. Fishburne will voice the “Silver Surfer”.
Rumors had been floating on the net that Fishburne would be providing the voice for the role of Galactus, but the studio still hasn’t decided whether Galactus will speak. Fishburne joined the film this week.
He will be joining Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards), Jessica Alba (Susan Storm), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm) and Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm). ‘Rise of the Silver’, directed by Tim Story and story by Mark Frost , will hit US theaters June 15.
