NFL’s First Week Schedule Announced March 26, 2007 9:03 pm

The NFL have announced the slate of games for the opening week of football, with the regular season officially kicking off Thursday, September 6.
That game will have the defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts hosting the New Orleans Saints on NBC. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.
Other opening weekend games include the first Sunday game on September 9 at 4:15 p.m. on Fox between the Chicago Bears and San Diego Chargers (at Chicago) and the first Sunday Night Football game (on NBC) between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants (at Dallas).
Kickoff for that game will be at 8:15 p.m.
And then the following evening, Monday Night Football (ESPN) kicks off with a doubleheader (much like last season) between the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals (at Baltimore) at 7:00 p.m. and the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers (at Arizona) at 10:15 p.m.
