Fox has officially renewed its Monday night hit Prison Break for a third season.
Executive producer Paul Scheuring said that he has planned this second season to end with a cliffhanger and he and his team have begun crafting the show’s third season.
Little is known about the third season’s storyline, except that producers plan to expand it internationally: “The scope of the show will play on a much more global scale,” Scheuring said and additional cast will be added: “We already knew where we were going,” he said. “Most of the major players are returning, but it will be a reconceptualization again, just like it was in season two.”
