Rumored to be in talks a little more than two weeks back, it has now been confirmed by Variety that Shia LaBeouf (Transformers) is indeed in final talks to portray the son of archaeologist Indiana Jones in the upcoming fourth installment of the franchise.
Relayed here on the site about a month ago, Indiana Jones 4 will be released on May 22, 2008. Transformers (which stars LaBeouf) debuts July 4, 2007.
