Broadcast TV Evening News Ratings for the Week Ending March 2nd March 7, 2007 11:23 pm

All three networks bounced up from a decline last week as ABC comes away with the most households and viewers, while NBC comes in first among the key adult 25-54 demo.  CBS still way behind in 3rd.

Here are the average ratings for the week of February 26th to March 2nd with the change from the previous week in parentheses (ranked by total viewers).

ABC – World News with Charles Gibson

  • 9,569,000 total viewers (+190,000 viewers)
  • 6.6/13 HH rating (+0.2 rating points)
  • 2,942,000 A25-54 viewers (-80,000 demo viewers)
  • 2.4/9 A25-54 rating (-0.1 rating points)

NBC – Nightly News with Brian Williams

  • 9,392,000 total viewers (+320,000 viewers)
  • 6.4/13 HH rating (+0.2 rating points)
  • 3,074,000 A25-54 viewers (+340,000 demo viewers)
  • 2.5/10 A25-54 rating (+0.3 rating points)

CBS – Evening News with Katie Couric

  • 7,511,000 total viewers (+600,000 viewers)
  • 5.2/10 HH rating (+0.3 rating points)
  • 2,441,000 A25-54 viewers (+261,000 demo viewers)
  • 2.0/7 A25-54 rating (+0.2 rating points)
