If NBC renews the long-running comedy series Scrubs, the star of the show, Zach Braff, will be given a large pay increase.
The one-year deal calls for Braff to be paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $350,000 per episode during the 2007-08 season. The increase would make him one of the highest paid male sitcom stars, along with actor Charlie Sheen from Two and a Half Men.
The deal is contingent on NBC renewing the hit show for a seventh season, which is expected.
