Broadcast TV Evening News Ratings for the Week Ending February 23rd February 28, 2007 7:30 am

All three networks were down week-to-week, but the big news was ABC surpassing NBC among total viewers and adults 25-54 (4th consecutive week for that demo). With host Katie Couric away from the chair for three days, CBS draws lowest audience ever since she took over the program.
Here are the average ratings for the week of February 19th to February 23rd with the change from the previous week in parentheses (ranked by total viewers).
ABC – World News with Charles Gibson
- 9,380,000 total viewers (-680,000 viewers)
- 6.4/13 HH rating (-0.4 rating points)
- 3,020,000 A25-54 viewers (-22,000 demo viewers)
- 2.5/9 A25-54 rating (-0.1 rating points)
NBC – Nightly News with Brian Williams
- 9,070,000 total viewers (-1,100,000 viewers)
- 6.2/13 HH rating (-0.7 rating points)
- 2,730,000 A25-54 viewers (-420,000 demo viewers)
- 2.2/8 A25-54 rating (-0.4 rating points)
CBS – Evening News with Katie Couric
- 6,910,000 total viewers (-870,000 viewers)
- 4.9/9 HH rating (-0.6 rating points)
- 2,180,000 A25-54 viewers (-530,000 demo viewers)
- 1.8/7 A25-54 rating (-0.4 rating points)
