Solid debut for Fox News’ 1/2 Hour News Hour February 21, 2007 6:30 pm

Fox News’ answer to Comedy Central’s Daily Show and The Colbert Report got off to a solid start with its first episode , with an average of 1.48M viewers tuning in.

Of those nearly 1.5M viewers, 499,000 of them were among the news channels key adult 25-54 demo.

To put the numbers in perspective, on average, The Daily Show reachs 1.6M viewers and The Colbert Report 1.2M.  Though those shows skew much younger, and perform much better among the key younger demos (A18-34 and A18-49).
