NBC has announced that Days of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney will be replacing Caroline Rhea as the host of The Biggest Loser next season.
Episodes for the new season will begin filming in the spring, for a likely fall airdate.
“Alison is an incredible talent and will bring not only a great fresh face to the show but a huge, loyal fan base,” executive producer Ben Silverman says. “We are thrilled and look forward to another strong season.”

i am writing from the uk as an avid fan of america’s and britains biggest loser programmes.it is usually shown on sky channel ‘living’ and i was writing to see if the new series when filmed will be shown on british television in the uk. its a fantastic programme and it certainly sends a great message to the viewers to live a healthier lifestyle, i myself enjoy watching the series whilst trampolining or hula hooping. if the incredible people who bravely appear on the show can do it then i certainly can . thank you for producing such a good quality show.
