Broadcast TV Evening News Ratings for the Week Ending February 16th February 21, 2007 8:28 pm

Both NBC and ABC gain week-to-week, averaging more than 10M viewers, while CBS loses ground.  ABC comes ahead of NBC for third straight week among adults 25-54.

Here are the average ratings for the week of February 12th to February 16th with the change from the previous week in parentheses (ranked by total viewers).

NBC – Nightly News with Brian Williams

  • 10,170,000 total viewers (+650,000 viewers)
  • 6.9/13 HH rating (+0.3 rating points)
  • 3,150,000 A25-54 viewers (+140,000 viewers)
  • 2.6/9 A25-54 rating (+0.1 rating points)

ABC – World News with Charles Gibson

  • 10,060,000 total viewers (+360,000 viewers)
  • 6.8/13 HH rating (+0.1 rating points)
  • 3,240,000 A25-54 viewers (+60,000 viewers)
  • 2.6/10 A25-54 rating (no change)

CBS – Evening News with Katie Couric

  • 7,780,000 total viewers (-210,000 viewers)
  • 5.5/10 HH rating (-0.1 rating points)
  • 2,710,000 A25-54 viewers (-70,000 viewers)
  • 2.2/8 A25-54 rating (no change)
