Variety is reporting that Fox Atomic has purchased the comedy script Space Invader, which will star Will Arnett.
The actor will share also produce, sharing credits with Peter Principato and Paul Young of Principato Young Entertainment.
Space station-set story, penned by Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger, centers on a love triangle. The writing team, who developed the script with Arnett, began working on the script months before the recent arrest of astronaut Lisa Nowak on charges that she tried to murder a woman she believed was her rival for a Space Shuttle pilot.
Space Invader will be co-executive produced by Robbie Brenner and John Davis.
