NBC has decided to premire their new crime/mob drama The Black Donnelly’s forward one extra week. The series will now premiere February 26th at 10:00 p.m. ET.
The move means Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip will be pulled one week early, perhaps due in part because of the continued dip in ratings for the series (it recently hit its lowest ratings yet).
No decision has yet been made on ‘Studio 60’ but the theory in pushing ‘Black Donnelly’s’ forward is it will benefit from two weeks of leading out of new episodes of Heroes, instead of just the one (Heroes goes on a short repeat hiatus after its March 5 episode)
