Sequel to Toy Story Set February 14, 2007 5:12 pm

A third film in the Toy Story franchise has been given the go ahead, with an expected release date set for sometime during 2009.
John Lasseter, who directed the first two, said that the movie will be directed by Lee Unkrich who co-directed Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo. This will, however, be his first solo project on a Pixar film.
Lasseter also confirmed that Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will be returning to voice the characters of Woody and Buzz Lightyear, respectively.
