Fox dominates the competition with its one-two punch lineup of American Idol and House.
Fox finished in first place for the evening with a 17.2/26 household rating, 30.52 million total viewers and a 12.3/20 rating among adults 18-49.

- 8:00 p.m.: Up from last week American Idol (18.6/28 HH rating, 33.29M viewers, 13.3/33 A18-49) continues to dominate its competition, beating the combined audience of all four network shows up against it among households (18.6 vs. 18.2), viewers (33.29M vs. 27.80M) and adults 18-49 (13.3 vs. 8.2). On top of all that, the series managed to increase its audience by 2.12M viewers, 8% among households and 6% among adults 18-49. Amazing.

- 9:00 p.m.: House (15.9/24 HH rating, 27.75M viewers, 11.2/27 A18-49) posted its best ratings ever (and now holds the record for the highest rated scripted drama in the 2006/2007 season), retaining an impressive 85% of households, 83% of viewers and 84% of adults 18-49. - 9:00 p.m.: Another repeat, this time of The Unit (5.8/9 HH rating, 8.97M viewers, 2.3/5 A18-49 rating) did decently, holding firm among adults 18-49 from its lead-in.
- 10:00 p.m.: A new 48 Hours Mystery (6.1/10 HH rating, 8.75M viewers, 2.7/7 A18-49 rating) ended the evening for the Eye up slightly from its last newly aired episode two weeks ago.

- 10:30 p.m.: A repeat of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (5.8/10 HH rating, 9.41M viewers, 2.7/7 A18-49 rating) ended the evening for NBC in a tie for first place among viewers and second among households and adults 18-49.
ABC followed in fourth place for the evening with a 4.2/6 household rating, 6.35 million total viewers and a 1.9/5 rating among adults 18-49.

- 9:00 and 9:30 p.m.: The series finale of Big Day (2.9/4 HH rating, 4.29M viewers, 1.4/3 A18-49 rating) was flat from its last newly aired episode. That was followed by a repeat of The Knights of Prosperity (2.4/4 HH rating, 3.51M viewers, 1.4/3 A18-49 rating), as ABC hopes to try to get a few more eyeballs to this struggling comedy series.

Easily ABC’s top rated show on the night with great growth out of its weak lead-in. The show was also stable from its last newly aired episode.
