CBS’s coverage of the AFC Championship Game secures a first place win for the evening among all main categories. The game between the Patriots and the Colts drew over 43M viewers in primetime. CBS outrated the combined totals of all four of its competitors.
CBS finished in first place for the evening with a 22.6/33 household rating, 39.80 million total viewers and a 14.9/32 rating among adults 18-49.

The game peaked to 57M viewers in the last few minutes as Peyton Manning led the Colts to a win.

ABC followed in second place for the evening with a 7.9/11 household rating, 12.52 million total viewers and a 4.7/10 rating among adults 18-49.
